ramblings

yesterday i went with fairuz to MMU to experience a day as a student there. so i woke up at 630am for my shower cause the Malaysian Economy class starts at 8am. feruz came by around 715am and we drove to Cyberjaya.

students were about on time to class, which is nice since it was only a lecture. to compare to CANOS or CIT or whatever in RPI, people just come in anytime they want, including me. so the class went on. i am so ashamed that i dont know much about my country's history. i had clues and hints of what is going on with Malaysia's economy but i have no idea what the specifics were. when the lecturer asked students questions, no one wants to answer. and when she pinpoints, everybody went 'Don't know', 'Not sure'. I got a question about total factor productivitiy. I gave out a crappy answer, but an answer nonetheless... muahaha

Then feruz and i went to have lunch at Alamanda... FYI, Alamanda is not Alam Anda combined together. It's actually a flower.

At 1, we started Japanese. Hait hait hait.... hehehe. there were only 6 people in class and of course my name wasnt in the registered list. luckily it was an add/drop week, so anybody can be anywhere. but the class was fun. i think my kanji is pretty.. hehehe

Right after was Organizational Behavior (OB). The lecturer, Ridhwan Fontaine was really interesting. he had one blind eye i think cause there was something shining in it. the class was huge but space was limited. but OMG, the students were sooo noisy. tah pape tah. and then came time to look for groups tau... MY GOD!! lagi laaa.... i see that there's a distinct difference between Malay, Chinese and Indians. Malay too much politics... Chinese want everything to be fast fast and done... Indians a bit dont care.... BUT mind this note, this is not a generalization of everybody. Just a selected majority of Dr. Fontaine's class yesterday.

My MMU experience ended at 430pm.. ending notes: I want to go to the Malaysian Economy class some more. oooh right after went out japsss pi makan kat San Francisco Pizza.. yumm yumm. So nice laa that place... can go some more.
