life as we know it

i only have 20 days left of my stay here in Malaysia. time memang terbang when you're having fun. but gosh, i dread the days in troy... senior year!! gonna be tons of work. not so much cash nymore... still lotsa snow. urgh, that is when time doesnt want to fly around like a speeding bullet. it decides to stick around you longer and longer... the 5 weekdays will be like a year.. but weekends come in a short breeze saja.. poof, gone!

i woke up this morning in the comfort of my pink and rosey room. somehow i wanted to wake up in my colonie C apartment, where everything is so packed and messy. i would walk to my window and glance outside to check out where Ipan parked his car so i can steal it for 15 minutes for my trip to Price Chopper. if i dont see it anywhere, i would call him up to ask him to do petty favors for me. we used to go everywhere together. we used to run up to Blockbuster to get cheesy yet intelligent movies to watch together. we used to fall asleep together when the cheesy yet intelligent movies turned out to be cheesy afterall. we used to go onto Wolf Road, just the two of us to sample every restaurant there, but we always end up in Outback looking out for Jose. i used to bug him early in the morning to send me to class, even though he had no classes on that day. i used to call him up in Pizza Bella just to get a slice of mushroom and a bottle of green tea. i used to call up Abe's house to look for him if he wasnt in his room. we used to go fishing with the Taroi and blast "Have a Nice Day" on the stereo till we puked. we used to rock to "Raju Chacha" - the song we love the most. we used to bicker in the car in front of Jebat and Elle till they puked. we used to call each other names till the names stuck (anyet, keling). we used to cook together... all the petai and ayam sos tiram. we used to go into car washes together. we used to have car breakdowns together, everywhere! we used to have piggy back rides together. we used to go to Williams 301 to watch movies or grab a bite when everyone wasnt looking. we used to go shopping together. we used to get food for each other, just to say we're thoughful people. we used to steal each other's cheesecakes. we used to bite each other (i think i did most of the biting).

we used to... heh, sorry Pan for not being there for your final semester.

yeah, i dread the days to come when i'm in troy again. not because of how time suddenly slows its motion. not because of the heavy coursework. not because of the snow. not because i wont have cash to spend.

i dread the days in troy because Ipan wont be there anymore.
